Happy New Month Reader,
I wanted to take a moment to write you a personal note, just me to you.
Sometimes I think about how far Audio Girl has come and all the incredible women I’ve met along the way. Maybe you were with us at that very first workshop in Ibadan or Lagos in 2018, or you joined our Creative Accelerator in 2019, or maybe we only met recently during S.U.M.M.E.R 2025.
Maybe you attended a boot camp.
Or registered for a program but didn’t get in.
Or quietly supported from the sidelines, facilitating, mentoring, advising, or just cheering us on.
However we crossed paths, I want you to know this: you are part of this story.
This summer reminded me why I started Audio Girl in the first place. Over 300 amazing women registered to level up their careers in music business, and behind every single registration was a dream, a voice, a woman who refuses to give up on the possibility of building a successful career in music.
It hit me that our journey is just beginning.
We need more space. More doors. More seats.
And that’s exactly what we’re building next.
I’d love for you to take this next step with me, not out of pressure, but out of purpose.
If you’ve ever felt like you were waiting for the right moment to grow, this is it. We’re creating a space where women in audio and music, across Africa and the diaspora, can connect, learn, create, and thrive together.
I’d love for you to be part of it from the very start.
And because I want this to be a real conversation… I’d really love to hear from you. Hit reply and tell me how you’ve been or what you’re working on. I’ll be reading through responses this weekend, and I promise to reply.
Thank you for being part of Audio Girl, in whatever way you have.
I see you. We celebrate you.
And we’re just getting started.
With love,
Febe 🦄

P.S. Lace up your boots, girl. Put on your backpack. It’s time to ride. 🚀
